Continental Lithium / Chariot Corporation JV

Project Overview

Continental Lithium has entered a joint venture with ASX – listed Chariot Corporation Ltd to unlock the lithium potential of Nigeria’s Kwara and Oyo States.

This partnership brings together one of the largest consolidated hard-rock lithium landholdings in the country, about 254 km² – anchored by our flagship Kwara – Oyo project.

With strong infrastructure in place, including year-round road access, proximity to the Port of Lagos, and connection to the national power grid, the JV is strategically positioned to play a leading role in West Africa’s fast – growing lithium corridor.

Ongoing regulatory reforms and rising investment in local processing facilities, particularly from Chinese offtakers, add further momentum.

The venture is held through C&C Minerals Limited, a Nigerian entity that will house eight exploration licenses and two small – scale mining leases (about 26,500 acres in total).

Chariot holds a 66.7% stake in C&C, with Continental retaining 33.3%.
