At Continental Critical Minerals, we are committed to conducting our business in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible manner. Our sustainability initiatives are guided by our Environmental Policy, Human Rights Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct, and Social Performance Policy, which together form the foundation of our commitment to creating a positive impact on the environment, our communities, and our stakeholders.Environmental Policy
Our Environmental Policy is centered around minimizing environmental impacts and promoting actions that lead to consistent, environmentally responsible performance across our operations. We are dedicated to understanding and addressing environmental challenges and encouraging resource efficiency and continuous improvement in our environmental performance.
In alignment with our Environmental Policy, we:
- Support the goals of the Paris Agreement to limit global temperature rise to well below 2°C by the second half of this century.
- Respect the rights, interests, traditional knowledge, cultural heritage, and ecosystem services of local communities and Indigenous Peoples, incorporating them into our planning and operational practices.

- Review environmental risks and opportunities, integrating them into our planning, operating, and business decisions.
- Commit to addressing potential impacts on biodiversity by applying the mitigation hierarchy, aiming for no net loss of biodiversity.
- Conduct our work with respect for legally-designated areas, such as International Union for Conservation of Nature category I-IV protected areas.
- Refrain from mining or exploring in world heritage sites.
- Assess waste hazards in accordance with relevant regulatory systems and Good International Industry Practices, managing reuse, recycling, or disposal in a safe and responsible manner. Promote an environmentally responsible culture and expect everyone across our business to act with integrity as a strong role model.
- Secure necessary environmental authorizations and permits for our projects.
Human Rights Policy
Our Human Rights Policy outlines our approach to respecting human rights in the workplace and society at large. We expect our directors, officers, and other leaders to demonstrate integrity, promote ethical culture, and respect the dignity and equality of all people.
In accordance with our Human Rights Policy, we:
- Implement training and awareness programs to promote transparency and human rights awareness within our workforce.
- Conduct human rights due diligence to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential human rights risks and impacts across our business.
- Regularly review salient human rights risks and report on them as required by applicable rules and regulations.
We respect human rights in line with the United Nations (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the UN Global Compact
Supplier Code of Conduct
Our Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers we engage with, requiring them to act consistently with its provisions.
In accordance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, we expect our suppliers to:
- Refrain from any form of modern slavery.
- Avoid unfair or illegal discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, ancestry, social origin, or trade union membership.
- Provide a safe working environment for their employees by assessing health and safety hazards, risks, and implementing appropriate controls.
- Commit to identifying and addressing the impacts of their business on the environment.
- Provide carbon footprint data for their products delivered to us upon request.
Social Performance Policy
Our Social Performance Policy guides our efforts to support economic development, respect cultural heritage, and collaborate with Indigenous Peoples and artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) communities.
In accordance with our Social Performance Policy, we:
- Support economic development by providing local employment, procurement, and contracting opportunities, incorporating social transition strategies into our planning process to mitigate closure impacts.
- Appreciate and respect the importance of cultural heritage, seeking to avoid or minimize impacts on identified places, items, or other aspects of historical and cultural significance.
- Respect the rights, interests, perspectives, and aspirations of Indigenous Peoples, acknowledging their right to maintain their culture, identity, traditions, and customs.
- Recognize the importance of ASM as a source of employment and income generation in many countries, supporting efforts to improve the working and operating conditions of legal ASM.
